President Shimon Peres is on a visit to Brazil this week. Peres arrived in Brazil Tuesday, and will meet with top officials, including Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, as well as with business and industry officials.Accompanying Peres on the trip are 40 Israeli business leaders.
Peres is to speak Tuesday night to both branches of the Brazilian Parliament – in Hebrew. In his speech, Peres will speak of the warm relations between Israel and Brazil, and will urge Brazil to join in isolating Iran over its nuclear program.
