The international community will not allow Iran to continue its nuclear development program for much longer, said IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Tuesday. Ashkenazi said that the West would begin to take action by the end of the year.

"We are preparing all options, and the decision makers will have to weigh these options," he said.
