Israeli children will soon get basic dental care for free, Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman said Tuesday. Litzman plans to include dental care for children in next year's government-funded basket of health services, he said in a discussion in the Knesset today with health activists.

The budget for the basket of services will be at least NIS 350 million, Litzman said, and that if necessary, an additional NIS 65 million will be added to cover the dental services.
