The Israel Students Association has joined the National Authority for Road Safety in a campaign to raise awareness among students and other young people about the danger of driving under the influence of alcohol. Young drivers were 50 percent more likely than the rest of the population to be involved in accidents involving death or serious injury in 2008.
During the upcoming month, the two organizations will hold day-long information campaigns under the slogans "Alcohol and driving don't go together" and "If you drink, don't drive."
