The Israel Defense Forces are working this week to summarize last week's seizure of arms on the ship Francop, bound from Iran to Syria. An intelligence source said Monday that if Hizbullah terrorists in Lebanon had received the arms, it would have meant a qualitative improvement in their arsenal, given indications that a lot of the weapons were produced between 2007 and this year.

There were also some old munitions whose age indicated they would not be stable. They were wrapped in packaging that said, "bulldozer parts".

The 2,800 rockets found on the Francop represent 70 percent of the number of missiles fired on Israel during the Second Lebanon War. A surprising find was the 3,000 recoilless rifle shells. Also on board were 570,000 bullets that appeared to be made in China.
