Police are investigating an incident Sunday in which a drunk or mentally-ill man set a prayer book on fire over the grave of Rabbi Abdimi in the old Jewish cemetery on Yafo Street in Haifa. The tomb was vandalized late in August.
Worshippers say they drove the man away when he acted out of control, but he came back a few minutes later. The worshippers put out the fire and called the police, who arrested the suspect.
