Members of the Likud party Central Committee have drafted a letter to Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin expressing their opposition to the appointment of Knesset Secretary Eyal Yinon to be the Knesset Legal advisor.

A letter to the speaker focuses on the support Yinon gave to appointments made by then member of Knesset Omri Sharon, which affected their stance of the removal of Jew fron Gaza under the Disengagement program of Omri's father, then prime minister Ariel Sharon.
