Member of Knesset Daniel Ben-Simon, who recently resigned as chairman of the Labor party Knesset faction, attended the party "Rebels" conference Sunday evening at the Zionist Organization of America house in Tel Aviv.

Upon his arrival, Ben-Simon said his presence did not mean he was joining rebels Eitan Cabel, Amir Peretz, Ofir Pines-Paz and Yuli Tamir. If he did officially join them, it would allow them to break off from Labor and form their own faction.
