Farmers brought their protests demanding more foreign workers to the center and north of the country Sunday, and on Sunday morning were blocking off 14 major intersections. Police were trying to clear out protesters, but traffic was snarled in all directions on a number of roads.

The farmers are demanding immediate entry visas for 5,000 Thai farm workers to help with harvests.
