The Lebanese opposition has agreed to a deal that will create a unity government under the leadership of Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri. The deal was reached Friday.
Hariri has been attempting to form a unity government since his elections in June. However, for several months, talks with the Hizbullah-led opposition failed to yeild results.
According to the coalition deal, Hariri will lead a 30-minister cabinet that will include 15 ministers from the coalition, 10 from the opposition, and five appointed by President Michel Suleiman.
