(IsraelNN.com) The United States Army said as many as 11 people were killed and 31 wounded in shootings at the Fort Hood Army base between Dallas and San Antonio on Thursday. Authorities said that the shootings did not appear to be part of a terroist attack.

An army spokesman said the shootings began at a personnel and medical processing center on the base. The second incident took place at a base theater. The spokesman said one or two shooters were apparently involved and that one shooter has been killed. Two other suspects were apprehended.
