The Be'er Sheva District Court sentenced Gaza terrorist Aqra Nahad to three life sentences on Thursday for planting a roadside bomb which killed three Israeli soldiers and wounded another in Gaza on February 14, 2002. Two of the sentences are concurrent, while the third will be served after the other two under a plea-bargain agreement on charges of contacting a foreign agent and belonging to a terror organization.
Soldiers Asher Zaguri, Ron Lavie and Moshe Peled were murdered when Nahad and another terrorist detonated more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of explosives under an israeli convoy.
