Member of Knesset Yoel Hasson (Kadima) has embarked on a initiative to display Israeli and Jewish art in the hallways and meeting rooms of the Knesset. In calling the idea correct and appropriate, Hasson notes that Israel's legislature is a place where important people come every day.

He added, "The art on display must be classic as well as modern, works of contemporary artists as well as those of the past, of unrecognized young artists. All this and more will add to the image of the Knesset of Israel and the State of Israel around the world."
