(IsraelNN.com) Residents of Jerusalem's Kiryat HaYovel neighborhood who call themselves the "Action Council for a Free Kiryat HaYovel” have requested permission from the Yovlim Community Administration to allow them to screen movies on Shabbat in the Administration's hall, or in “Beit Taylor” which is also operated by Yovlim.

When Deputy Mayor David Hadari learned of the request, he wrote an urgent letter to the chairman of the  Community Administration, Kobi Cohen, asking him not to lend his hand to “creating more tension that already exists” in the neighborhood,  and not to allow a change in the status quo regarding Shabbat.
