The Director-General of the Ministry for Pensioners, Aharon Azoulai, expressed satisfaction Thursday with the 11-year sentence meted out to Dennis Shatz, who was convicted of robbing three elderly women in Bat Yam.

"There is no doubt that the policy of punishment is an important factor in stopping the affliction of violence against old people,” Azoulai said.
