The three main suspects in the beating murder of Arik Karp in August will remain in custody until the end of the legal proceedings against them, Tel Aviv District Court judge Chayuta Kochan ruled Thursday.
The judge determined that the prosecution has shown evidence pointing to violent acts by the suspects, and to the connection between those acts and the death of Mr. Karp.
The suspects are part of a larger group of Arabs from Jaljulya that accosted Tel Aviv resident Arik Karp, 59, and his wife and daughter on the Ramat Aviv beach promenade on August 14 2009. They are suspected of beating Karp to death, apparently after he tried to defend his daughter from them.
