1,940 Year Old Shekel on Exhibit Reported: 11:54 AM - Nov/05/09
(IsraelNN.com) An extremely rare one-shekel coin minted during the final year (70 CE) of the Great Jewish Rebellion will go on display at the Davidson Center / Jerusalem Archaeological Garden starting next Wednesday. For the first time ever, the general public will be able to see all the kinds of coins that were discovered at the foot of the Temple Mount.
