The family of Eden Natan Zada, the IDF soldier who murdered four Arabs in a bus and was then murdered by a lynch mob, is suing the state for NIS 2.5 million in damages, Maariv reported Thursday.

"Policemen arrested him and put handcuffs on his hands, and at the same time escaped from the place and left him in the hands of the bloodthirsty murderers, who did as they pleased with him and led to his death in a shocking lynch,” the lawsuit charges.

The incident occurred in May of 2005. Natan Zada opened fire on Arab passengers as an act of revenge after numerous bus bombings by Arabs.
