(IsraelNN.com) Israel's UN Ambassador Prof. Gabriela Shalev gave a powerful speech on Wednesday during the debate at the U.N. General Assembly on the Goldstone Report, accusing Israel of committing “war crimes” in Gaza.

"Instead of confronting terrorism, the General Assembly chooses to detach itself from reality again. The report before us is a product of the Human Rights Council’s obsessive preoccupation with the State of Israel that has brought it to support an outrageous number of resolutions against Israel, the largest number of resolutions against any nation and equal to all the resolutions against all other states combined," she said.
