House Committee Chairman, Likud MK Yariv Levin, filed a query on Wednesday with the Minister of National Infrastructure about water payments by new immigrants.

In accordance with the new provisions of water use efficiency, consumers were required to announce the number of persons in their places of residence, to adjust their water payments accordingly. Many new immigrants did not understand the notice, provided no information and were required to pay significantly more for water.
