On Monday, the Knesset approved a preliminary reading of a bill designed to allow forfeiture of property of someone who committed an act of terrorism.

The bill's initiator, Likud MK Danny Danon, said that "since you can not convict a suicide bomber, this bill makes it possible to seize his property and his house, even without being convicted." Speaker of the Knesset, Reuven Rivlin, avoided voting on the bill.
