(IsraelNN.com) President Shimon Peres observed today a joint Israel-U.S. military exercise rehearsing missile interception and air defense.

Regarding Israel’s capture of a terrorist weapons ship last night near Cyprus, Peres said, “Both Iran and Syrian continually supply the terrorist organizations, primarily Hizbullah and Hamas, and operate openly to collapse Middle East peace. The capture of the ship has top-level military importance, as well as political; one cannot argue with the facts. This is an important achievement for the army and the entire country.”
