A two year old and a five year old who were seriously hurt in a fire in the Shuafat area of Jerusalem died Tuesday night. The two were treated in an Israeli hospital for smoke inhalation, and was pronounced dead after efforts to revive her failed.
Three other people were hurt in the incident. Police said that the fire was caused by an electrical short.
