Religious School Administrators Demand Budget Restored Reported: 16:20 PM - Nov/03/09
(IsraelNN.com)
At a conference of religious school principals and administrators Tuesday morning, participants decided that unless funding issues for the National Religious school system were resolved, the system would go on strike. The strike, if it does come to pass, would take place on Sunday, November 15. At issue is the transfer of NIS 100 million for the system that was supposed to have taken place by now. Speaking to Israel National News, conference participants said that they hoped Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Gideon Saar would "come to their senses" and "continue to support an important educational project for the Jewish people. The money was promised, and promises must be fulfilled," they said. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
