At least one person suffered undetermined injuries Tuesday morning when dozens of disabled veterans of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demonstrated at the headquarters of the IDF's rehabilitation headquarters in Kiryat Ono, near Tel Aviv. Special police forces were summoned to the scene after the demonstrators broke through the facility's fence. Eyewitnesses say the police beat the demonstrators.
The veterans have been demonstrating for days in protest of mistreatment by the staff.
