(IsraelNN.com) Australian Friends of Gush Katif & Shomron protested an appearance by Israeli Supreme Court Eliezer Rivlin, at an event hosted by Monash and Deakin Law Faculties in Melbourne this week, according to the Green Beyond the Line blog.

Rivlin was greeted by a protest with a banner that read "HIGH COURT OF SUPREME INJUSTICE!!!!" The protest was aimed at highlighting the anti-religious and anti-Jewish approach of the High Court while at the same time sending a strong message of support to the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.

The organizers of the event locked out the group's chairman Moshe Elkman, even though he had reserved seats, stating that he was “a threat to the staff”. Elkman questioned the organizers and stated “You are representing two large law faculties and I would have thought that “freedom of speech” would have been a principle your organizations would endorse!”
