Professor MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said Monday that there is no place for apologies by the Right regarding the Yaakov Teitel case. The former commander of IDF Medical Corps told Arutz Sheva noted that the alleged perpetrator of attacks against Arabs and Jews was not raised in Israel.
Eldad also voiced support for a call by HaTikva faction spokesman Ron Breiman for establishing a committee of inquiry to re-examine the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin in order to put conspiracy theories surrounding the case to rest. The committee, he said, should look into “gaps in timetables, the problematic chest X-ray, contradictory testimony” and more. "Maybe if they explain these things, the conspiracy theory will be uprooted,” he said.
