Israel Aviation Industries (IAI) recently unveiled a new executive jet called the 250G, developed with Gulfstream of the United States. Deputy general manager David Dagan of IAI - in charge of civilian aircraft - told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew journal that the company ranks among the top 10 world producers of executive aircraft.
He said the 250G could only come out of a top-10 company. The plane is the fastest and most spacious aircraft in the middle to large category and also has the largest range. It has luxury features only available on more expensive aircraft. The $24 million craft is expected to take to the air during the coming year and be presented for approval before aviation authorities in Israel, the US and Europe. Marketing of the aircraft will follow approval.
