The Dorot Hahemshech (Following Generations) group is holding workshops to teach the children of Holocaust survivors to write and tell what they have heard from their parents in order to leave behind their stories and testimonies. About 50 people have taken part.
Billy Laniado, who coordinates the workshops for Dorot Hahemshech, told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew journal that the project started because many people who know the stories don't know how to tell them properly to the young generations, whether the audience be soldiers or children. She added, "Every memorialization fights Holocaust denial. We know very well what our parents went through. They don't tell us about Holocaust denial. We hear the crying at night...."
