Following the disclosure that Ya'akov Teitel of the Samarian Jewish communit of Shvut had been arrested in connection with a number of unsolved attacks, AmiPrime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu congratulated the Shin Bet Israel Security Agency, the Israel Police and all security and law-enforcement personnel Sunday night for their steadfast performance against any person who choses the violent path and takes the law into his own hands.
The Prime Minister's Office says Netanyahu had been updated by the security forces a few weeks ago, and in his speech to the Knesset during last Thursday's memorial session for assassinated prime minister Yitzchak Rabin, some of his words were directed at the Teitel case and the possiblity that there were others like him.
