Although Indonesia agreed to grant Israeli tennis star Shachar Pe'er an entry visa to the country to play in an international tournament this week, it will not allow the Israeli flag to fly at the stadium where the tournament is to take place, as is usual for players participating in such tournaments.
In a statement, the Indonesian Foreign Ministry said that the country was not hosting an Israeli player but an international tournament, and while it could not control who was playing in the tournament, it could control outward signs of international relations with Israel.
