Police are investigating reports that an Arab carjacked a taxi Saturday night, beating up the driver and dumping him, and then escaping in the taxi.

The driver, 40, was found wandering around the Rantis Junction, near Elad, with light injuries. A medical rescue team gave him first aid on the spot and took him to a nearby hospital. Police have launched an investigation.
