One Israeli tourist was killed and 34 were injured in a bus accident in Jordan Friday afternoon. Ten of the injured are in serious condition. The tourist bus was headed to Petra when the driver lost control during heavy rainfall, skidded and overturned on the wet road. Jordanian rescue workers transferred the seriously injured to local hospitals, while those who were moderately and lightly hurt were airlifted to Israel.

In Netanya Friday, authorities were searching for a tourist who disappeared in the water off a local beach. He had been swimming with two companions when all three were lost. One was later pulled from the water and pronounced dead, while the second was not injured.
