A Ramat Gan resident was arrested over the weekend for threatening to harm Culture and Sports Minister Limor Livnat. The 38 year old man reportedly stalked Livnat via e-mail and messages, and threatened to physically injure her. Police Saturday night requested to extend his remand, and he is to be examined by psychologists.

Livnat complained about the stalking earlier this week. Police traced the e-mail messages to the individual, whom they discovered had also been sending threatening messages to a former employer.
