The Palestinian Authority has once again rejected American proposals to revive talks with Israel. PA chief Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday rejected a plan by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to revive the talks, on the basis of continued Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria for "natural growth" needs. The PA has been demanding a total Israeli cessation of all construction in the region as a precondition for the revival of the talks.
Clinton and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will meet Saturday night. The two will hold a joint press conference later Saturday night.
