The Hamas terrorist organization holding kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit hostage is currently alleging that a dispute over a list of 125 terrorists is the major sticking point in an exchange deal.
Senior Hamas negotiator Osama al-Musaimi told reporters Wednesday that Israel is unwilling to free 125 terrorists whose release is demanded by the terrorist group, and that this is what is holding up a deal for Shalit's freedom. Hamas is demanding the release of 1,450 Palestinian Authority terrorist prisoners in exchange for Shalit's return, including 450 murderers with "blood on their hands." Deals that have in the past been characterized as "close" have repeatedly fallen through on precisely the same claims as that made by al-Musaimi on Wednesday.
