Four ready-to-fire rockets aimed at Israel were uncovered by the Lebanese Army on Tuesday night, according to local Arabic media reports. The Katyushas were found in the same area from which a rocket was fired towards the Upper Galilee, near Kiryat Shmona, Tuesday night.
All four rockets were defused by the Lebanese Army, together with troops from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which is charged with ensuring that no "foreign armies" are allowed to be armed or operate in the region south of the Litani River. UNIFIL has been responsible for enforcing the U.N. ceasefire resolution 1701 that ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War between the country's Hizbullah terrorist organization -- which today has a significant representation in Lebanon's government -- and Israel.
