Shahar Peer to Play Tennis in Indonesia

Israeli tennis star Shahar Peer will participate in a tennis tournament in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation. The Indonesians reportedly balked, but the World Tennis Federation threatened to cancel the tournament in Bali if Peer was not invited – and she was issued an entry visa into the country, the Federation said.

The Tournament, set for next week, will include the top 12 non-seeded female tennis players in the world. Israel and Indonesia do not have diplomatic relations.
