(IsraelNN.com) The Samaria Residents' Council has decided to use the extreme-leftist Gush Shalom group's list of factories in Judea and Samaria Jewish communities as a recommendation list instead of a criticism list.

Gush Shalom publishes the list from time to time in an effort to get its supporters in Israel and abroad to boycott products from these factories. The council has revived an old practice by private concerns to publish the list as a way of encouraging people to buy from these factories instead of others, and thereby support the settlement enterprise. They credit Gush Shalom with being meticulous in their location of the factories.

A number of Jewish factory owners in Judea and Samaria called Arutz Sheva to ask why Gush Shalom removed them from the list or did not include them in the first place. One from Samaria said, "Either they're not serious in their research or they want to insult us."
