Jews from from the Samarian Jewish communities of Gush Shilo and Kida were attacked Tuesday morning when they held a march in the nearby Arab village of Al-Moir in protest of the arrival of Arabs and leftists near Kida, ostensibly to take part in the olive harvest. Residents of Al-Moir threw stones at the Jews during the attack.
The Jews say the Arabs and leftists don't come to harvest olives but to provoke the Jews and gather intelligence for terror attacks. A Jewish resident was wounded in a shooting by terrorists last month.
