Kfar HaRoeh, First Yeshiva High School, Marks 70 Years

The Bnei Akiva yeshiva in Kfar HaRoeh, about midway between Tel Aviv and Haifa, will mark its 70th birthday on Wednesday.  It was founded by the late Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Neriah as the first yeshiva high school in Israel.

The observance will feature a discussion of the subject "Yeshiva high schools - where do we go from here?" by Rabbis David Stav and Yehoshua Shapira. Certificates of appreciation will be handed out to founders of the institution and others who were around at the beginning.
