Defense Minister Ehud Barak says that a commission of inquiry regarding the Cast Lead Operation will not be established, and no IDF officer or soldier will be investigated. In a statement to the press Barak wrote, "We sent our fighters to do a job, and they are entitled to our full support.”



"Israel will continue to fight the Goldstone report, and will work to correct the laws of war, to adjust then to the struggle against terrorism,” he added.
