Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting Sunday morning, Interior Minister Eli Yishai said that the government should reveal the protocols of the security cabinet from the period before and during Operation Cast Lead, as a substitute for setting up an independent inquiry panel.
Yishai said that the record will show that the IDF took great pains at all stages to avoid hurting civilians during the war.
