Activist Yehuda Glick, who leads an organization that advocates increasing the Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, was barred from entering after police closed the site, due to the rioting by Arabs there.

Commenting to Arutz 7 on the situation, Glick said that "the Arabs learned how to deal with the police; they throw a rock, and police punish the Jews by barring them from the Temple Mount."
