NU Youth: Where Were Deportation Foes in 2005? Reported: 13:18 PM - Oct/23/09
(IsraelNN.com) The young leadership of the National Union (NU) party said on Friday that it supports Interior Minister Eli Yishai's boycott, earlier this week, of a hearing by a Knesset committee on the problems of foreign workers. The leadership group criticized the exploitation of children of the workers who were brought to the hearing by leftists and accused them of perpetuating the demographic threat to Israel that they often warn about. The NU group expressed amazement at the swelling of the ranks of those opposing the deportation of illegal workers and their children, and asked, "Why, during the Disengagement, did we not hear them talk about the human rights of the children of the settlers. Are the foreign workers more important in the eyes of the left than their brothers from Gush Katif?" ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
