An in-depth discussion on building a Zionist library was held Thursday in Jerusalem in the framework of a day devoted to "Relating to Israel in Zionist philosophy". The process of assembling the "Zionist Bookcase" began a few months ago under the initiative of the World Zionist Organization and Zionist youth groups with the goal of creating a list of 60 books that constitute the heart of Zionism on the occasion of Jewish State's 60th birthday.

The first meeting dealt with the works of Binyamin Ze'ev (Theodor) Herzl. Upcoming sessions will cover the works of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook and others.
