(IsraelNN.com) The film "My Opposition - The Diaries of Friedrich Kellner" was to be screened at 3:00 Friday afternoon in the framework of the Jewish Eye festival at the Academic College of Ashkelon. The documentary tells the story of Chief Justice Inspector Friedrich Kellner and the ten-volume secret diary he wrote during World War II to record the misdeeds of the Nazis after he was almost sent to a concentration camp for protesting.

In 1968 Kellner gave the diary to his American grandson, Robert Scott Kellner, to translate into English and to bring to the attention of the public. Following the screening, the grandson was scheduled to meet with the audience. He recently sent a letter to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, asking to meet him and give him a copy of the diary, in the wake of Ahmadinejad's comments that the Holocaust was a myth.
