An international draft plan to have Tehran ship its uranium abroad for enrichment was rejected by Iran's deputy parliament speaker, Mohammad Reza Bahonar, on Thursday, according to the IRNA news agency. The draft was produced following three-days of talks in Vienna, and believed by the international community to be a way to curb Iran’s ability to build a nuclear weapon.
Israeli assessments of the nuclear deal under negotiation see it has mainly benefitting Iran, allowing it to "buy time" and gaining legitimacy to enrich uranium, Voice of Israel government radio reported on Thursday. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened his seven-member inner cabinet to consider Israel's strategy regarding the deal.
