(IsraelNN.com) The Gush Katif evacuees’ situation is ongoing and not encouraging, said Director-General of the Prime Minister’s office, Eyal Gabai, at a Knesset review committee meeting convened on Wednesday to review the findings of a government inquiry into the handling of Gush Katif evacuees.

“The prospects of returning to a normal, stable way of life are not encouraging,” he said. “The prime minister has determined that this is of primary importance in addressing the issue. The necessary government ministries are prepared to follow the conclusions of this committee.”
