In his speech at the "Facing Tomorrow" conference Tuesday night, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu touched on issues of state, saying that "peace with our neighbors is possible, but it requires leadership and courage. I call on Palestinian Authority chairman Abu-Mazen to lead your nation to peace. Tell your nation that the time has come to end the conflict," Netanyahu said, using the nom de guerre of PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.
During a subsequent speech, one of the large pieces of lighting equipment set up at Binyanei Haumah, the Israel Convention Center in Jerusalem, fell down. Two people were lightly injured. Rescue workers gave first aid to the injured.
